A visitor from - posted Sat February 25, 2012: This shot really shows the difference in fuselage length between the SP and later extended (especially the new freighter) versions. Would love to see them side by side. The SP looks kind of silly in comparison.

A visitor from - posted Mon August 29, 2011: LOT of differences between the SPs and other 74s. Flap track fairings and many more that the eye doesn't see. I wonder if this was the aircraft that United set a round the world speed record with in '89 or '90 I believe. I think they were surpassed during the same week by a Gulfstream G-IV. The 747 beats the Concorde around the world.
