So That`s Why This Airplane Was In Greece! The Libyan Government Will Never suspect that Pnoy was the one who Brought that Thing To That Country!

Happy 70th year to the Asia's first airline! This was chartered by the Philippine government to get the overseas Filipino workers from Libya which traveled by boat to Greece. Although all Philippine based carriers were recently banned from EU, it was given a special permission to operate for this special flight.
I was waiting for this photo of PAL in HER.
Thank you to the photographer!

This 777 landed at HER in order to carry Filippino evacuees from Libya, arrived in Heraklion by boat. That was the most exotic bird I have shot at "Nikos Kazantzakis" airport until this day...

An exquisite photo Nikos! I'm curious why a PAL 777 would be at HER ... any reason why it may have been there?

Indeed an amazing sight!! Never had anything close to that in all my visits. And I thought I'd hit the jackpot with Air China's 777 @ CHQ!

Nice shot of the two Boeing birds. That's certainly a rare sight to see since Philippine Airlines does not fly to Greece. I think 777ER was a special charter flight to ferry fellow Filipinos out of Libya and back to their home country.
