G-STDL (cn PFA 207-12674) Seen parked on the flightline during a visit, this is an extremely rare type, being one of only two in existence. Designed and built by the late Peter Phillips as an affordable twin, but with excellent aerobatic performance, its development stopped after his death. However, Speedtwin Developments now own this aircraft and its sister, G-GPST and development appears to be moving forward again. Originally designed with 2 x O-200 engines (as fitted to G-GPST), this example is now powered by 2 x Walter M332B.
