Heya...There are actually 3 birds in this picture...Just look at the 3rd bird near the no.1 engine...Looks like the bird is mocking the 747's Take off gesture... :-)
Great picture anyways...

There's a operation called Go around...so the airplane aproaching wouldn't land if something happened during the 747 take-off...

btw great photo.

To the visitor before me, the approaching yet will not land if the 747 is on the runway or failed to take off. It'll execute a go around.

The 747 would not take off here if it was not safe. It'll fly after it has passed the point of no going back, even if it loses an engine. It just might have to climb a bit slower, but it'll fly.

What if the 747 will have a diverted take-off... i wonder what will happen when that plane approaching collide with that 747..... hmmmmmm.....

What if an engine goes out at V1, could this 747 airborne still? A very hairy situation from spectator's view.

Not a lot of photos have me speechless, but this is one of them. Sheer power, a dramatic late takeoff and a super aircraft 10/10

Taking more than 400 souls in air this sky beauty always gives charismatic look, "wonderful"!
