Once a familiar sight, the graceful lines of Concorde are more than just elegant.Sadly the demise of Concorde means the end of supersonic travel.

Flying on Concorde was the 2nd greatest experience on my life (1st being my daughter born). That moment we thrust forward for take off was awesome. Seen her hundreds of times and miss her flying nowdays. She will always be Queen of the Skies. How can something ahead of its time be in a museum ?

I always thought that the Concord was a hugely un-economical aircraft, but it always looked so graceful and powerful, two words which would normally contradict eachother in most contexts!
