N404US / 404 (cn 23886/1487) This is the Prototype 737-400, the first 737-400 series built. Hybrid wears USAir colors and Piedmont Airlines titles and tail logo seen lining up runway 27 for departure to CLT. First flight was February 23, 1988. Delivery date was March 2, 1988. Other serials - N73700 with Boeing Company - prototype 737-400, and also N402P with Piedmont Airlines, USAir, US Airways, and WTCT - Wilmington Trust Corporation Trustee.
