TF-CUP (cn 12990) This 1944 built Piper Cub was brought to the Oshkosh Airventure in the belly of the 747-200 (TF-ATF) of Air Atlanta Icelandic which can be seen in the background. The Cub was used by the RAF during the 1940's. It's owner, Einar Pall Einarsson, spent six years restoring the aircraft, which is equipped with a 100bhp motor (instead of 65bhp) and has both an alternator and an automatic engine starter. At Oshkosh, it received a Judges' Choice Award in the category of WWII Era Aircrafts. [Canon EOS 500N]
