Nostalgia! I flew the SB-17G's in the 57th Air Rescue Squadron
at Lajes Field, Azores, in l953-55, with a long boat underneath
for dropping at sea by parachutes. The Portuguese also had a
few B-l7s. Color,detail and depth of field put me back there!
