16503 (cn 17) The Portuguese Air Force ordered 26 CASA C-212 to be employed in the african colonies war. Her missions were primarily in tactical and logistical transport and evacuation of wounded, complementing the aircraft Dornier Do 27 and replacing the Douglas C-47 still in service . The 26 aircraft began to be received even in 1974 and early 1975, and placed in 32 Squadron, Air Base #3. Due to the revolution of April 25, 1974, they were not sent to Africa as planned. Preserved in Ovar Air Museum
