C-FETB (cn 18024/177) This loud and weird looking Boeing 720 is about to land on runway 24R after a 6 hours long test flight. The Canadian Space Agency headquarters, the John H. Chapman Centre, can be seen in the background.

I'm studying at the "École Nationale d'Aérotechnique", right in the airport zone, and I've seen this plane some times, wich is the one Pratt & Whitney's using to test their engines. Lot of fuel consuming though, but who cares ?! Très belle photo Alex !

Nice shot of the B720. If you look carefully, you can see what looks like the new PW617 engine being tested for the future Embraer Phenom 100.

Thanks for sharing this rare sight! I must agree with the British visitor though, wonder what it would like like with a "Concorde style" tilting nose.

Send your plane to ''Pimp my Plane''
1-800 Pimp my Plane! This one looks like a thunderbird.

It may be difficult for the pilots to see the runway with that big nose. T.B.

It looks like Pinochino, does this plane tell lies?

A visitor from Switzerland posted Fri September 29, 2006:
I particulary like the 3rd engine pair above the nose gear. Does it make the plane STOL? :-)
