Kinda tells You just how robust the 720's aerodynamics are ... able to take such a punch into the face ... and still fly

Great to see this aircraft again. It used to come to Stansted ( UK ) regularly for maintenance, the P & W reps who came with it were well known and very well liked.

I had heard about this aircraft, but until now had never seen a photo of it - yes, it sure does look like Pinocchio - with a propeller though...

The retired pilots used to drop by the Legion Branch 147 in St. Bruno once and a while to discuss all things aircraft. We used to joke about the old engines on the bird and they would retort that it cost $10 / yard to put all that black smoke behind her!
