VH-XBA (cn 17696/29) Close cropped view of the forward fuselage and P&W JT-3D engines of Qantas Airways first Jet Aircraft and First Boeing 707 (Original Reg VH-EBA). The aircraft, in original livery and named 'City of Canberra', is on Final Approach to Canberra's Rwy 17. (Qantas' First Boeing 747 was also Registered VH-EBA.) The crew was practising 'Touch and Go' landings in preparation for the 707's final 'short field' landing at the Qantas Founders Outback Museum at Longreach, Queensland. (Canon EOS 20D/EF 100-400 L IS USM).
