It was a beautiful winters day here in So. Cal. and QF 11 was running about an hour or so late. Luck for me as the sun just came out not more than 10 minutes earlier. Here we see her crossing the intersection of Sepulveda and Lincoln about 200ft (60M) above. Just after taking this shot I went up to the In N Out (left of blk SUV) and had a tasty Double Double burger and fries. What a great way to celebrate this shot! Local time 11:05 PST.

Looks like a double burger in the sky. Still amazing that this man-made device can fly all the way across the Pacific!

I want to like the A380, I really do, but it just looks to stocky to be truly graceful. It's an engineering marvel but it just ain't pretty. Nice capture though.

And another long journey comes to an end. Very nice photo. I like the contrast against a beautiful blue sky.

Well done Paul, the atmosphere captured perfectly in the shot and your remarks....I really hope I may join you soon for one of those superb double doubles at one of the best spotting locations anywhere!
Best regards from a snow bound Manchester, UK,

A scary thing most likely if you have an a380 flying over you car, but a wonderful shot

Great photo, you cant fully understand how close they are to the ground unless you have been there and seen it, the surrounding area makes it more dramatic, thanks for a great picture Paul..
