VH-EBD (cn 20012/171) The tail fin of a Qantas Boeing 747-238B (in original livery) alongside that of Pan AM Boeing 747-121 N656PA in Sydney in 1974. Boeing 747s entered service with Qantas in September 1971. This Qantas aircraft has an early 'Winged Kangaroo' logo on the tail. (On 24July2007, Qantas unveiled a revised Kangaroo Logo on Boeing 767-338 VH-OGD at Sydney Airport.) A Qantas Boeing 707-338C 'V-Jet' is at far left of photo.
