This aircraft entered Qantas service on December 19, 1971 and operated until February 14, 1980. It was then painted in Eastern Airlines colours but when the sale fell through was re-painted back to the Qantas scheme for whom it flew until March 18, 1985. It entered service on the US register as N747BN until sold to People Express. When the merge with Continental occured it was again re-painted, this time to the Continental Airlines livery. It was eventually scrapped in September 1994. Scan from slide.
