VH-NLH (cn 24050/779) As QFA25 arrives from NZAA on 7R, the storm that has been pounding LAX for more than four hours decides to take a break. But it didn't last for long as the intense rains started back up not more than 10 minutes after I took this shot. This powerful Pacific storm had quite a bit of subtropical moisture in it and dumped more than 4 inches in total. An unusual sight for LAX, but well worth seeing.
