It must be a difficult approach. We've got a forest and water on short final, so thermals guaranteed and take into account you're just a few feet above terrain. I love this shot. So much energy in it, like if I were there.
Haha, this one actually looks like a real kangaroo to me, that has just jumped over the river and the fence, maybe to snatch a drink (=fuel)!!! :)
Beautiful picture of this lovely little English aeroplane.
Wow! Awesome shot! It's so low, a crocodile could have jumped out of the river to snatch this bird!
Very unusual nose down atitude for short final ...
Speedbreaks are being deployed!
Excelent photo - really caught beuty of final aproach
I realy like this photo...it's crazy... :)
How comes the flaps are in??
Great shot! And for those that are saying the "speedbrakes are engaged..." I see , or used to see NW Avro's deploying the speed-bakes 3 miles final for appproach in OKC. It is perfectly normal. Great shot and great timing!
Someone said " Fantastic shot, excellent clarity! The BAe 146's often deploy their rear speedbrakes shortly before touching down, I have seen it happen often." The BAe146 ALWAYS do this.
Greatest Airline in the world. Great shot.

The best 146 shot I have seen in a long time.
My favorite aircraft in a very nice angle & light.
Nice angle mate so close !
Great pic. That fence must be having serious words.
THIS is what can be called a LOW approach!!!very nice shot...
I just love those low approaches. Great image!!
Nice! With the speed brakes already engaged at the tail!
Wow i never seem one this close up befor
Very nice pic!!! The Opening at the APU is the speedbrakes. The BAe aircraft does not have any reversers. Only that speedbrakes and spoilers that deploys on touch down.
Excellent shot. That's not a reverser, it's a speedbrake.
Perfect Photo!! The thing open in the back are the spoilers.
Excellent composition, you can even see the mist trail from the left aileron, yes it is interesting that she has the speed brakes starting to deploy in short final. Good job!!
I have never seen one of these before. But it is surly cool looking aircraft. The tail is really cool with the kangaroo on it.
Very great picture! Very well done!
Very good! | |
Reversers already out?
Beautiful....just Beautiful
What is the opening part at the APU?
