It's nice to see the awesome C-17 in something more interesting than grey! Cool!

There is something very cool about this baby. It looks like a pimped up ride. Checkout those big engines (like low profile tires on sports rims). A low rider. Yo momma, y'all sure too hot of the road. ;-)

Let me guess! this plane will be used to carry some of the Lamborghinis, Feraris and Mazeratis belonging to the royal family and follow them wherever they go!

In Qatar right now myself, according to the BOEING Reps here when we were supporting them on the arrival of the first C-17 (which is a Grey Tail) the commerical livery one is the Prince's personal plane for transport of his camels, horses, etc.

I wonder if Boeing will build a civil version of the globemaster...

Too bad Boeing decided not to develop the BC-17 otherwise we would have seen a lot more of these planes painted up all neat 'n pretty like this

I bet the painters at Long Beach were confused about this strange camo pattern being put on a military aircraft. It really does look great in this paint.

I will never get used to seeing anything but Low-vis grey on a C-17. Awesome picture though! You captured it right when the anti-collision beacons were flashing :)

Wow! I really wasn't expecting this aircraft to look so good in painting other than the "classical grey". Really nice shot.

This is so much better than solid dark grey! Why don't all countries paint their C-17s in airline liveries?

I have seen this beauty up close at Al Udeid AB in Qatar a few months after you took this pic ( I think it was in Nov when I went through there )

Makes you wonder what other USAF heavies would look like in civilian paint jobs. A C-5 or KC-135 in those really slick New Zealand liveries?

Qatar's livery is one of the best there is IMHO, and on this airplane it simply looks amazing,
