262 is a nice machine, a pleasure to fly as a pax and pilot | |
Good to see one of them was still flying well into the 21st century... Exactly the opposite of what has been been posted below, a beautiful airframe flying very nicely, very sound design, unfortunately underpowered as engines used to be then (first half of the 60s...) In fact, the ancestor of the ATR 42 and 72 families.. (same factory and design team) | |
It shows once again that with the right power one can make a barn door flying. | |
