Wonderful memories. I remember my father taking me on Sunday mornings to Congonhas, in the late 1950s, to watch the Convairs of Real Aerovias Brasil. Convairs and Super H Connies, beautiful planes! Thanks Dad!!!

I have seen photos taken a lot later then this with a not so good results.
As this photo was taken 53 years ago I think the quality is very good.

I loved those Connies. I flew a lot of times on the REAL wings, more in DC-3s and 340s. The Connies were 1649. PP-YSA, YSB, YSC, YSD. They were transfered to VARIG fleet converted to Cargo. The original VARIG's Connie fleet have been also changed to Cargo. PP-VDA, VDB, VDC, VDD
