N25Y (cn 422-8509) Originally built as photoreconnaissance Lockheed F-5G-6-LO Lightning serial 44-53254. In civil service flew in the postwar Bendix Tropy Races nicknamed "Sky Ranger" and later was very populary known as "White Lightnin" of Marvin "Lefty" Gardner from Austin, Texas. On 25 June 2001 crash landed after engine failure near Greenwood, Mississippi. Acquired to Flying Bulls at Salzburg, Austria, restored to flying condition again by Ezell Aviation in Breckenridge, Texas. First flown in June 2008 and later shipped to his new owner in Europe.
