G-RRGN / PS853/C (cn 6S/594677) Built in 1945, PS853 was one of the last Spitfires in Royal Air Force service and became a founder member of the RAF Historic Aircraft Flight, now the BBMF, in 1957. It was sold by the BBMF to Rolls Royce Corporate Heritage Department in 1996, with whom it remains, kept at Filton. It is shown participating in the 2008 Kemble Air Day.
