VH-FDU (cn DHA5012) Originally built as a Mk.1 with Gipsy Majors and registered VH-AZM in 1952. Re-registered VH-DRF in 1961 and in 1964 re-registered again in the RFDS series as VH-FDU. At some stage converted to Mk.3 standard with Lycoming O-360-A1As, which must have made a big improvement! In June 1967 to Fiji Airways as VQ-PAF until Dec 1972 when it returned to Australia as VH-FDU. Privately owned, although it once again carries RFDS titles.
