EW-275TI (cn 00347210) Approaching the runway in heavy rain in the late afternoon, with the runway light well visible through the wet windows of the An-12's glase nose. Seconds later a go-around was initiated to demonstrate the performance of this freighter. Built in 1970, it was registered as RA-13392 in may 1993 and operated by Airstars, and later by Kosmos Aviation. Many thanks to the great Ruby Star crew, Airevents and Merlintour, without their connections and organisation this photo would not have been possible to take.
