What an amazing shot to get in those conditions.

This is not An is on the left, the runway is to the right

That's An-12. If weather got even worst, It can land in the middle of the snow covered grass left of the Rwy.

Real IFR. In those conditions it must be on centreline. Looks only that right side of the approach light systems are in the picture.

Maybe you can inform where this picture was taken and also how did you made this photo.
It is a very uncommon picture.

I've never seen this much snow where I live here in the US. This is a great example of how those Russians deal with snow!

Runway? What runway?

Beautiful and a little scary photo at the same time.
From ground view this snow and lights create "cozy", almost Christmas atmosphere.
At the same time flying this airplane turns cozy to ugly atmosphere.

Five stars both for the picture and for the landing. Where a tank can't go, send an An-12.

Unique shot alright, but odd that you chose to withhold the location.... There's clearly a permanent runway there.... Why be so secretive? Share the info, share the fun....

Egor that's an excellent picture. however, just for curiosity, where were you located to make that picture, another plane behind?
