The plane in the background is an OC-135 from Offutt AFB, Nebraska. Blurred by the heat, on the tail it says "Open Skies" which is in reference to the Open Skies treaty which allows the US and Russia to monitor each others nuke sites. This is the airplane designated for that mission. Awesome pic, had I been there I would have been very impressed by the size of the MI-26 which is close to the size of a C-130.
