Nothing wrong with no 3 enginge. It's only the landinglight that you see in the waterspray. If you look closely you can see it just under the fuselage between the nosegear and left maingear.

Yeah it is sad that they don't use Russian planes. But they have plans to buy the Tu-204. Great photo, what happened to engine no.3?

Nice shot!!!

That doesn't look like a thrust reverser................

A visitor from United States posted Sun June 25, 2006:
Great shot! Nice thrust reverse action in wet weather!
By the way - the engines are turbofans, but with relatively small bypass ratio.

A visitor from Australia posted Sun June 25, 2006:
Are the engin's turbo jets and not turbo fans?

A visitor from France posted Sun June 25, 2006:
Very good shot. The engines look like those of the A340

A visitor from United States posted Sun June 25, 2006:
I very nice photo for a rainy day. The thrust reversers seem to be doing a fine job. I had never seen the details of this aircraft so clearly, despite the weather conditions.

A visitor from United States posted Sat June 24, 2006:
Small, but powerfull engines.

A visitor from United States posted Sat June 24, 2006:
That looks like an A340 w/o the winglets.

Excellent picture quality, but IL-86 looks not so nice from this angle. :)

P.S Valentin, which camera do you use?

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 23, 2006:
Beautiful shot and effect! At first glance I thought the undercarriage was in flames.

A visitor from Brazil posted Fri June 23, 2006:
Great shot

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 23, 2006:
Are those the landing lights that look like flames shooting out of the wings?

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri June 23, 2006:
Beautifully captured Vala. The II-86 is a great looking plane. The way the landing light is shining under the wing makes it look like there's a fire under there! Weird!

A visitor from Russian Federation posted Fri June 23, 2006:
