19 This upgraded Su-25SM (NATO Designation Frogfoot) was present in the static park at Gelendzhik airfield during the 5th Gidroaviasalon. The aircraft is equipped with a Bars (Snow Leopard) digital avionics system, improving navigation and weapon delivery accuracy as well as extending the weapons suite with laser guided high precision weapons. The Pastel electronic intelligence station conducts electronic intelligence, warns the pilot and sets up the proper electronic or decoy measures to counter the threat. Built-in monitoring devices and automated ground monitoring equipment reduce maintenance input by 25 to 30 percent.
