I was there. The best thig was, that the plane "landed" on the rocket pods. After they were remowed, the plane took off the day after this happend... Funny (I assmume intentionally) this was the only plane of the russian dispaly team (Russkie vitzai) equipped with the pods... When did India decided to buy the Su-27s?... | |
This sukhoi needed more than hammer work (i. e., new undercarridge, new flaps, new brakes etc., and a new pilot!) | |
Show me some western aircraft, which after landing like this will be able to fly, after some hammer work on it... Nothin else was done. Russian simplicity really works. :-))) | |
None of western fighter jets could survive belly landing It showed how tough Su-27 Flanker really are... But, I dont like the angle of the picture | |
