Do you know what the scariest bit is? With all its analogue controls and dated look, one of those huge planes managed to make its way to within 19 miles of UK airspace in Kent without being noticed. Now, imagine a little revamp on this baby. Russians were always good at chess and God help us if they once again found a way to put the world's superpowers in check with a trick as old as the cold war.

Well, I would say, for "Russia's most fearsome bomber" the equipment looks kind of outdated. Can't believe there is not a single screen or electronic instrument installed. If all the radar and ECM systems are in the same technological state - the bird is useless.

What a great photo with good clarity. I wonder though why Russian aircraft always seemed to have the cockpit area painted in either a greenish color or this aquamarine color. Nice to see a classic analogue cockpit though. :)

Superb Shot!!! No doubt that this cockpit is an amazing workplace for it's pilots!!! I would love to sit in left or right seat for even a few minutes!!! *****

This is the first shot I have ever seen from Tu160's cockpit! No doubt for 5 stars! (I wish there was 10 stars choice!!!)
