This Tu-160 was named after the hero of USSR, russian pilot Vasiliy Reshetnikov. During WW2, Vasiliy flew more than 300 sorties, including bombing Berlin and Hitler's staff in 1942. From 1969-1980 Vasiliy Reshetnikov was the commander of Soviet long-range aviation forces. From he was 1981-1986 vice-commander of Soviet air forces. He is alive and lives in Moscow now.

Great shot. It looks so much like a B-1, I wonder where the Russians go the design from? Hmmm.....
