 A visitor from Canada posted Sun December 17, 2006:To those who arent acquainted, this unique aircraft is an amazing piece of engineering..it is one of, if not the fastest prop aircraft to date, with rumours that it could out-accelerate jet fighters like SEPCAT Jaguar..its top speed came close to many subsonic jet aircraft. Of course it also had its fair share of probs like the immense amount of noise it created. The "wierdness" of this aircraft is really a showcase of Russian engineering ingenuity and originality!! | |
