A visitor from United States posted Tue September 8, 2009: I heard the Sounds of those Engines Once. In the Bearing Sea aboard the USS Carl Vinson,85-86, when one flew over (VERY CLOSE) the ship. Boom, On came the Deck Lights and the Airboss Yelling "Launch the alert 5 tomcat". True Story. The tomcats escorted him Back buy us a second time. Was Scary then Cool!
