Beautyful ekranoplane, but how ugly looks the comunistic symbol on the navy's flag... guys the iron curtain fell long time ago...

I am pretty sure that this is a "pole queen" A display aircraft. the "pontoons" are static display mounts. notice the posts in the water aft of the tail and at the nose. more can be found by searching "wing in ground".

To commenter before me, it never had pontoons. it would fly just above the water. those pontoons are there for balancing the aircraft.

Thats really cool. Those pontoons look they will create a lot of drag when the craft takes off. Is this one of those hybrid things that sort of skims over the water like a hovercraft?
