Now there is a classic shot of two Cold War workhorses. Granted, I'm American and would go with the B.U.F.F. any day, the Russians made a true blue airplane with the TU-142, and many other long range bombers. 5 stars for composition, and an excellent view of aviation history. -Jason

To see these two types side by side is iconic enough, considering it was back in '94 when still very much active. For me though, the most stunning site are those British VC10s...beautiful!

It is a neat time in our history when these two machines can sit side-by-side rather than working against each other. Everything in this photo came together perfectly, especially those RAF refuelers!
