YV-224C (cn 19055) In Memoriam !!! This aircraft, built in 1943, crashed in January 2001 while trying to return to the airfield shortly after takeoff from Ciudad Bolivar to Porlamar. Picture taken one year prior to the crash during the same trip waiting tourists for a departure to Isla Margarita via Canaima and Ciudad Bolivar...
