NX211 (cn 2) The only flying replica of the Spirit of St. Louis lands at Smith Field. The EAA brought the aircraft in to display it during the fly-in this weekend. After looking through the cockpit with it's wicker seat and primitive instruments, it's amazing to think that Charles Lindbergh sat in there for some 36 hours, and navigated over water at night using only a magnetic compass.
