I've had connecting flights through this airport and landing here is really great experience, there is just this adrenaline. This picture shows just how short the runway is and how these large aircrafts can land there without problems. Great view of the flaps elevators in position for landing. | |

The approach to this very short runway is down through a draw below a ridgeline. The aircraft remains at the same radar altitude during short final. At the other end is a cliff with the All-America Highway below. Quite an approach! Great shot. Thanks for the memories. | |
