 A visitor from - posted Mon January 12, 2009:WOW! I was born 1984 and my grandfather (R.I.P.) used to take me to this place since i was 2 or so. I remember he had this little blue radio with a huge antenna, he was able to hear the air traffic controller speaking to the captain from sahsa, or other airlines. This picture brought a huge smile to my face, very nice pic, great memories. Thank you. | |

From three to five in the evening the place was packed with dreamers like me... Man, you felt as if you could touch the wings of those planes and the sound, the sound is impossible to explain... | |
| A visitor from - posted Sun December 25, 2005: Having spent many afternoons at the Infinito in the mid-80's, scanner in hand, it was always a unique experience to feel (really!) the wake turbulence from the 727s and 737s. Carside trays would fly up frequently, crashing dishes shortly thereafter. The place was shut down in the late 80's to improve safety. I had a series of very similar pictures I took, which I unfortunately lost. Brings back wonderful memories. | |
