Great shot of a classic wing. I'm not sure I'd make a trip all the way to Iran to fly on a 707 though. Arizona is about as far as I go (just visited Pima for the first time).

Travelling on a B-707 over the Iranian territory these days is, indeed, an unforgettable experience. Most of these jetliners are nowadays retired from service or are being scrapped. But this picture is the best proof that this old aircraft is still flying. Good for you, buddy. And keep this picture as souvenir of your trip to Iran.

I love those engines. Saha Air is using a 707 that once was an aerial tanker. I think is this one. T.B.

What nostalgia! As a child in the 60's and early 70's I used to fly in the 707 all the time from Japan to Europe on Luthansa's fleet of 707's as well as to the USA with Pan Am, American etc..
Great memories of this wonderful aircraft, thank you!

You just don't come by a lot of 707's anymore. i thought the only way to fly on one today was if you were john travolta. i guess not. beautiful shot.

Dusty landscape below, superb lighting from the sun, old school engines on the wing... looks like something out of a movie. Very nice.
