Two Brazilians, who made history, Santos-Dumont and Alan Calassa that this is flying the 14-bis.Calassa living in Goias, Brazil. He made an identical replica of 14.BIS used by Dumont the first man to fly with a half heavier than the air in 1906 before a supervisory committee of the Aero Club of France. Giving that honors all people who helped him, as did Calassas a great man but small as Dumont

Beautiful picture, very interesting airplane, and a more interesting saga behind. As a correction to the generally known story, on 18.03.1906 (so more than 7 months before Mr. Dumont), a Romanian did the first unassisted take-off with an airplane built and designed by himself in Montesson, France. His name was Traian Vuia...
