I-AEDA (cn 5611) The S-56 was a very interesting early amphibian aircraft. The design was one of the first foreign types put into production in the USA - American Aeronautical built examples in Long Island, NY. This airframe was built in the country of design and is preserved here to this day. Believed to be one of only two in the world - the other one is in a museum at Long Island.
