Why I searched for a photo of this particular aircraft: In 1979, I was aboard this exact aircraft flying from LAX to Copenhagen. During this night flight the pilots were made aware of a problem with the oil lines in the #2 engine. We had to make an emergency landing in Winnipeg. Back then Winnipeg airport's runway was too short for a loaded Magnus Viking to takeoff after it was fixed, so we had to fly Air Canada to Toronto, then London, then Copenhagen. My family went on from there to Stockholm. We survived this incident, of course. How said to learn of this aircraft's ultimate fate. Memory eternal!
