BGA260 (cn 32/16) The Rhönsperber is just airborne on the winch during the 2009 Vintage Glider Club National Rally. The inscription on the nose lists some key points of this glider’s long history: - 1st flight January 1936. Winner British Championships 1938 and 1939. Last flight March 1940. Rebuilt Tangmere 1972-80. Winner 8th International Glider Rally 1980.
