I know that the plane is meant to land on the water.. its my first to view such picture as this in this website. I usually view big commercial airlines. But this one really caught my attention. I just hope that jumbo jet had an option to land on the water for emergency purposes. Great shot!

Lovely bird!! The closest I ever came to that experience was numerous water TOs and landings in Antilles Airboat's Grumman Geese and Mallards back in the '80s.

Love this aircraft. This one now belongs to Kermit Weekes at Fantasy of Flight in Florida, I believe. Its sister ship is 'Beachcomber' and is on display at Solent Sky in Southampton, UK. I volunteer there occasionally and it's well worth a visit. The cabin is fully accessible and flight deck tours are free!
