F-WWDD (cn 004) With some of the flight displays switched to the "exterior" view mode, one simply wonders how many external cameras this aircraft has.

I Like he way the cockpit has been designed, especially with the qwerty keyboard (Much easier when surfing the internet on those long transatlantic flight) but i don't like the blue color they have given the cockpit. To eighties-like for me ;-)

Good picture. We should thank all those great people who have worked hard to design and manufacture these beautiful planes, whether they were from Boeing or Airbus or other manufacturer.

The the UK visitor about the glasses for pilots: the LCD's don't harm your eyes. They are just light, instead of CRTs, that are catode rays converted to light by phosphorus coating inside the tube surface.

Really nice Shot!!!

Boeing rules!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri May 26, 2006:

Very nice clarity, great amount of room compared to some cockpits.

I hate glass cockpits, i bet you that in 3 years time the planes will end up by being controlled by a machine, that is not flying, is it?

A visitor from UK> The A380 has only two reverses, thanks to good brakes by Messier Dowty, and due to the span of the wings.

Just wondering...where are the other 2 thrust reverser levers?? apart from that, beautiful cockpit, they just have to instal a PS2, XBOX or whatever now on these beautiful LCD's to pass the time during long haul's flight when not playing at the casino or enjoying a drink at the bar!! this plane will make (old)pilot lifes even better!
