This is the upper deck of the A380 not the lower one. It's as wide as an A330/A340 and configured with the usual 2-4-2 that most airlines use, so does that mean ALL A330s are cramped sardine cans? And yes Airbus promised more space, but they didn't promise to tell the airlines how to use it.

A visitor from United States posted Fri August 27, 2010:
I don't know what all you guys are saying, it's really not any smaller than normal economy. And for "I thought the A380 was supposed to be big?" Yes it is, to fit more seats, not for more shoulder space...

A visitor from Mexico posted Sat February 27, 2010:
Man isnt it suspose to be an A380 BIG?? where is the space they promised?? hahah even a 747 has more room between seats pff a sardin can hase more room hahaha you can hardly move!!!

Can we have some sympathy for the passengers whoose pockets aren't that deep or don't want to spend 10,000 dollars for an airline ticket? come on , these people are going on a 10 hour flight, this is suppose to be 21st century flying, and you have hardly any room to breath it's so crambed! not flying on this a380, unless i fly first!

This is Economy. Singapore Air does not have Premium Economy anymore. This is the Economy a la the 777-300s, A330 and A380. Soon the remaining 777-200s will be fitted with this I reckon.

Yes, every seat has the Krisworld entertainment system.

Dont like these seats though, personally. I rather be in J haha

This is regular Y-class cabin, they don't have premium economy. And hardly a sardine can, the view angle just may give that impresseion.

This is the upper deck of A380. On flight from Singapore to Tokyo I had that seat where the green t-shirt guy is bending over and side passenger was not there. - Harish Save from Mumbai

Is this premium economy or regular cabin?

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed June 24, 2009:
I had the seat that the guy in the green t-shirt is bending over - very nice - feels like a private cabin and easy to walk downstairs for a nose
