The 747-8 is longer than the A380.
Nice detailed picture btw I was on this plane this very same day :)
74 and 77 really are beautiful aircraft!
Andrew's comments say it all - lax offers great variety, and this shot encompasses that. I recall spending a few wonderful hours between terminals 1 and 2 watching and photographing the action many years ago... and the action seems to have got even better.
The A380 due to it's large wings in comparison with the length of the fuselage will always look short and stumpy. Hence while the T7 and 747 look much bigger when in reality, it dwarfs the T7(though the A380 is about 0.9m shorter) and is longer than the 747.
As always Andrew, your photos are exquisite! I always look forward to seeing them here... Capt. Dan Northwest Airlines (Retired)
The 380 looks shorter because of its proportions.
Aviation heaven! | |
The A380 is the star in this picture but I love the KLM MD-11 from this angle. Great shot.
Wonder about the lens used in this picture, the 747 and the 777 appear much larger compared to the 380.
