9V-SMY (cn 27217/1023) Wow, this one was on approach to ZRH. Unfortunateley its against the sun, but taken in early morning. Nice reflections on the water. We were no. 6 or 7 in the approaching line to ZRH. Shot was taken on board D-ABAL as flight AB 8682 HAM-ZRH, seat 13A. 9V-SMY was delivered to Singapore Airlines on 17th March 1994. I'm impressed that you manage to find out the reg no. of this aircraft!

Great Picture! You can tell that this is a 747-400 because the winglets are exclusively for the Boeing 747-400. I don't know how you got the registration but great job!

Excellent photo of a great plane and at a great airport!

I guess the 744 landed after him, so he registered it while on the tarmac.

Wow! Now if this was a painting it would be a masterpiece. Like the reflections on the water surface and the entire surrounding as well. This birdy sitting in the middle of it all makes it absolutely marvelous! Excellent shot Tobias!!!

I also wonder how you can tell exactly which aircraft it is and what its registration is? Maybe you have good eyes? Nice reflections on the water though! :)

Artistic rather than simply scenic.

How on earth can you know that this was 9V-SMY??
Maybe you work in the business, but i see a lot of people with those air-to-air shots with complete info.
2 weeks ago we landed on EHAM, i saw a Asiana 747-400 under us during approach, i have no idea how a laymen can get that info!
I can, i work at an airliner, but it takes time when it is not our own aircraft.

Very nice picture though mate, keep it up!!

I enjoyed viewing the picture because of the beautiful back ground and observing the aircraft in the air as it prepared to land.
