F-WWDD (cn 004) With some of the flight displays switched to the "exterior" view mode, one simply wonders how many external cameras this aircraft has.

I Like he way the cockpit has been designed, especially with the qwerty keyboard (Much easier when surfing the internet on those long transatlantic flight) but i don't like the blue color they have given the cockpit. To eighties-like for me ;-)

A visitor from Turkey posted Thu October 11, 2007:
Good picture. We should thank all those great people who have worked hard to design and manufacture these beautiful planes, whether they were from Boeing or Airbus or other manufacturer.

A visitor from Austria posted Mon December 25, 2006:
Airbus Rules! The best cockpit; great shot and angle I'm looking forward to flying it!!

A visitor from Uruguay posted Sat June 17, 2006:
The the UK visitor about the glasses for pilots: the LCD's don't harm your eyes. They are just light, instead of CRTs, that are catode rays converted to light by phosphorus coating inside the tube surface.

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 12, 2006:
Really nice Shot!!!

Boeing rules!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri May 26, 2006:
Great pic. I bet A380 pilots need glasses after staring at all those LCDs all day.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri May 19, 2006:
Very good pic thanks, what happend to the good old yoke? how can u fly the worlds biggest passanger jet with one hand on a computer like flight sim joystick, i dont think it feels right (love to have a go though)

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu May 18, 2006:
I have only seen the A380 at Bristol Filton (EGTG) in England and i have always wanted to see the aircraft since i heard about it, i like this photo because i have never seen inside the aircraft thanks! from Nick

A visitor from United States posted Fri May 12, 2006:
Very nice clarity, great amount of room compared to some cockpits.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri May 12, 2006:
I hate glass cockpits, i bet you that in 3 years time the planes will end up by being controlled by a machine, that is not flying, is it?

A visitor from Turkey posted Wed May 10, 2006:
I believe the angle is perfect and screens are very clear.

A visitor from Australia posted Sun April 23, 2006:

A visitor from UK> The A380 has only two reverses, thanks to good brakes by Messier Dowty, and due to the span of the wings.

A visitor from - posted Mon March 20, 2006:
I love this panels

A visitor from France posted Sat March 18, 2006:
The A380 normaly has one camera in the tail and one under the fuselage pointing at the front wheel

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat March 18, 2006:
The A380 has approximatly 64 cameras placed around the external fuse and internally inside the cabin and cargo bays... Nice Photo!

A visitor from Belgium posted Sat March 18, 2006:
Just wondering...where are the other 2 thrust reverser levers?? apart from that, beautiful cockpit, they just have to instal a PS2, XBOX or whatever now on these beautiful LCD's to pass the time during long haul's flight when not playing at the casino or enjoying a drink at the bar!! this plane will make (old)pilot lifes even better!

A visitor from Canada posted Sat March 18, 2006:
All you need is a Mr. Spock in there...and you've got a spaceship
